- Research article entitled “Study exploring breast cancer screening practices amongst Arabic women living in the State of Qatar” published May 22, 2011 in open access journal Avicenna was downloaded 719 times by June 30, 2013, and featured as a "Most Read" paper.
- As the result of my recently completed CIHR funded research study entitled “Contextual Factors Affecting HIV/AIDS Treatment and Prevention Amongst Recent Immigrants From Endemic Countries,” I was interviewed and appeared in the documentary entitled “Brooks - The City of 100 Hellos.” This documentary was sponsored by the Omni television, with participation of the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit (CP TC), and assistance from the Government of Alberta, Alberta Multimedia Development Fund. The documentary is produced by Brady Y Productions Inc. It was aired on OMNI TV across Canada in October 2011.

The radio station informed me the next day that my interview inspired many people and that they will replay the talks due to many public requests for replay.
